Appeal by the Ukrainians Worldwide Movement Organizing Committee

The Ukrainians Worldwide Movement Organizing Committee (UWM OC) is closely monitoring the events related to the large-scale war unleashed by Russia on Ukraine, as well as what is going on in Ukraine and with Ukraine beyond its borders. We highly appreciate the heroic efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are courageously holding back the onslaught of the aggressor. A low bow and respect to you, heroes of Ukraine! We highly appreciate any assistance provided to Ukraine by the countries of Europe, America and other continents. Sincere thanks to you, friends and allies of Ukraine! We gratefully support all world leaders who understand the nature of Russia’s war on Ukraine and are doing everything possible to stop this war. Thank you very much!

At the same time, we are watching with concern those countries and their leaders who do not understand or do not want to understand the nature of Russia’s war on Ukraine and who consciously or unconsciously take the side of the aggressor or help him with obvious benefits for themselves. We are particularly concerned that US President Donald Trump has taken the initiative to end Russia’s war on Ukraine through a bilateral commercial deal with Russia and contrary to the world order established after World War II. He wants to act as a peacemaker in favor of Russia, persuading Ukraine to surrender its territories captured by the enemy to the invader, ignoring the fact that the territorial issue is the exclusive competence of the Ukrainian national referendum, and a common sense. At the same time, Mr. Trump no longer even hides that his goal is actually not a just peace for Ukraine (and Russia), but receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Ukrainians Worldwide Movement Organizing Committee’s position on Russia’s war on Ukraine, set out in the Appeal of March 12, 2022, supported by representatives of more than thirty countries around the world, remains unchanged. At the current stage of the war, when the question of its completion or termination has arisen, we can formulate our position as follows, taking into account the numerous promises of President Trump:

1. Give Putin 24 hours to completely cease hostilities.

2. Urge Putin to withdraw all his troops from the Ukraine’s territory within 30 days. Down to the last soldier.

3. Put Putin at the negotiating table with Ukraine with an agenda of compensation for the damages caused to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people during the years not only of the full-scale invasion, but also during all the years of Ukraine’s independence.

4. Prepare the ground for a war crimes tribunal and bring to justice all those who contributed to this war from Russia, Ukraine and other countries.

5. Begin to prepare world public opinion for the final collapse of the Russian Federation as an empire.

Such actions by the leaders of the free world will demonstrate the ability of these leaders to be people of principle, and to demonstrate to the free world their determination and ability to overcome evil that should have no place on Earth.

Provided these demands are successfully met, we will gladly support D. Trump’s nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize.

In the meantime, we call on all Ukraine’s citizens, all Ukrainians abroad of Ukraine and all those around the world who support Ukraine and Ukrainians to take to the streets in support of the above-stated demands and to protest against any attempts to force Ukraine to make peace deal with Russia through the capitulation and surrendering of Ukraine’s legal territories.
We are confident that in these actions we can stand in the way of the encroachments of Russian President Putin and the purely commercial deal of US President Trump as a self-proclaimed “peacemaker”.
Lasting peace is possible only as a result of Ukraine’s victory. So, there will be no peace, that is, Ukraine’s victory, until Ukraine, and to an even greater extent Ukrainian society in close cooperation with the Ukrainian diaspora, sets as their goal a complete and final victory in this war that Russia has imposed on Ukraine. To win this war, it is important to:
1) raise the level of national consciousness and civic maturity (responsibility) of Ukrainian society and Ukrainians worldwide as a whole to the maximum;

2) unite in achieving this goal on a global scale (let’s not forget that there are almost a hundred million of us!);
3) develop a well-structured strategy for victory (and, unfortunately, there is none in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the office of the President, in the government and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, or in the minds of the intellectual elite of Ukraine;
4) maximize assistance to the hot front of the war with human resources, weapons, ammunition, etc.;
5) open a powerful information front in the following directions and with the following strategic goals:
(a) towards Ukrainian society and Ukrainian abroad — in order to raise morale and faith in victory;
(b) towards the world community — in order to increase assistance to Ukraine with weapons and ammunition, diplomatic and economic measures, information support, debunking the Russian historical myth, etc.;
(c) towards the enemy — with the aim of disintegrating its armed forces, population, debunking the Russian historical myth and launching the processes of the disintegration of the Russian Federation as an empire and a terrorist state.

All this is not so difficult to establish. There would be a desire. There would be a will to win. We hope and believe that you have it.

In these days preceding the meeting of US President Trump with Russian President Putin in the American Alaska, we call on the citizens of Ukraine, Ukrainians abroad of Ukraine and all those in the vastness of the world who support Ukraine and Ukrainians to take out truly mass actions in support of the above-stated demands and protests against any attempts to force Ukraine to make peace with Russia through the capitulation and surrender of the legal territories of Ukraine.

Find time to take to the streets not to ‘have a good time’, but to express your clear position in support of Ukraine and to prevent a collusion between Trump and Putin, who has already been declared a war criminal by the international court, in favor of Russia. May you be joined at street protests near the White House and the US Congress in Washington, near the offices of heads of state and government, near the embassies of the US, Russia and Ukraine in the capitals of all countries of the world by as many people of goodwill as possible who are aware of the nature of Russia’s war against Ukraine and support Ukraine, its territorial integrity, sovereignty and security.

We ask you to share this Appeal in the media and social networks, and also express your support for our demands by all possible means.

МИ — ЗА СПРАВЕДЛИВИЙ МИР, АЛЕ ПРОТИ ДОГОВОРНЯКА ТРАМПА ІЗ ПУТІНИМ

Звернення Орґанізаційного Комітету Руху Світового Українства

Орґанізаційний Комітет Руху Світового Українства (РСУ) пильно відстежує події, повʼязані із широкомасштабною війною, розвʼязаною Росією проти України, а також із тим, що відбувається в Україні та з Україною за її межами. Ми високо цінуємо героїчні зусилля Збройних Сил України, які мужньо стримують натиск аґресора. Низький уклін вам і шана, герої України. Ми високо цінуємо будь-яку допомогу, що її надають Україні країни Європи, Америки та інших континентів. Щира дяка вам, друзі й союзники України! Ми підтримуємо із вдячністю усії світових лідерів, які розуміють природу війни Росії проти України і роблять усе можливе, щоб зупинити цю війну. Щиро дякуємо вам!

Разом з тим, ми з тривогою стежимо за тими країнами та їхніми лідерами, які не розуміють або й не хочуть розуміти природу війни Росії проти України й свідомо чи несвідомо беруть сторону аґресора або й допомагають йому з очевидною вигодою для себе. Нас тривожить, зокрема, те, що президент США Дональд Трамп узяв на себе ініціативу припинити війну Росії проти України за допомогою двостороннього договорняка з Росією і всупереч світовому порядку, встановленому після Другої Світової війни. Він хоче виступити в ролі миротворця на користь Росії, схиляючи Україну до здачі захоплених ворогом її територій загарбникові, нехтуючи тим, що територіальне питання є виключною компетенцією всенародного референдуму України, та й здоровим ґлузом. При цьому містер Трамп уже навіть не приховує, що його метою насправді є не справедливий мир для України (та й Росії), а одержання Нобелівської премії миру.

Позиція Орґкомітету РСУ щодо війни Росії проти України, викладена у Зверненні від 12 березня 2022 року, підтримана представниками понад тридцяти країн світу, залишається незмінною. На нинішньому етапі війни, коли постало питання про її завершення чи припинення, ми можемо сформулювати нашу позицію так, враховуючи й численні обіціянки президента Трампа:

1. Дати Путінові 24 години на повне припинення бойових дій.

2. Спонукати Путіна упродовж 30 днів вивести з території України усі свої війська. До останнього солдата.

3. Посадити Путіна за стіл переговорів з Україною з порядком денним про відшкодування збитків завданих Україні й українському народові за роки не тільки повномасштабного вторгнення, а й за всі роки незалежності України.

4. Підготувати ґрунт для трибуналу над воєнними злочинцями і посадити на лаву підсудних усіх, хто спричинився до цієї війни з боку Росії, України та інших країн.

5. Почати готувати світову громадську думку до остаточного розпаду РФ як імперії.

Такі дії з боку лідерів вільного світу продемонструють здатність цих лідерів бути людьми принципів, а вільному світові — продемонструвати свою рішучість і спроможність побороти зло, якому не повинно бути місця на Землі.

За умови успішного виконання цих вимог ми охоче підтримаємо висунення Д. Трампа на здобуття Нобелівської премії миру.

Тим часом ми закликаємо усіх громадян України, усіх українців за межами України й усіх тих на світових обширах, хто підтримує Україну і українців, виходити на акції підтримки висловлених вище вимог та протестів проти будь-яких спроб примусити Україну до миру з Росією через капітуляцію й здачу законних територій України.
Ми впевнені, що у такий спосіб ми можемо стати на перешкоді зазіханням президента Росії Путіна й суто комерційним договорнякам президента США Трампа як самозваного “миротворця”. Тривалий мир можливий лише як наслідок перемоги України.
Отож миру, тобто перемоги України, не буде до тих пір, поки Україна, а ще більшою мірою українське суспільство у тісній співпраці з українським зарубіжжям не поставлять за мету повну і остаточну перемогу у цій війні, яку навʼязала Україні Росія. Для перемоги у цій війні важливо:
1) піднести до максимуму рівень національної свідомості й громадянської зрілості (відповідальності) українського суспільства й світового українства в цілому;
2) згуртуватися в досягненні цієї мети в масштабах світу (не забуваймо, що нас майже сто мільйонів!);
3) випрацювати добре структуровану стратеґію перемоги (а її, на жаль, немає ні в Ґенеральному штабі ЗСУ, ні в офісі президента, в уряді та у Верховній Раді України, ні в мізках інтелектуальної еліти України;
4) максимально посилити допомогу гарячому фронтові війни людськими ресурсами, озброєннями, боєприпасами та ін.;
5) відкрити потужний інформаційний фронт за такими напрямками і з такими стратеґічними цілями:
(а) на українське суспільство й українське зарубіжжя — з метою піднесення духу й віри в перемогу;
(б) на світову спільноту — з метою посилення допомоги Україні озброєнням і боєприпасами, дипломатичними й економічними заходами, інформаційною підтримкою, розвінчування російського історичного міфу та ін.;
(в) на супротивника — з метою розкладання його збройних сил, населення, розвінчування російського історичного міфу й запуску процесів розпаду Російської Федерації як імперії й держави-терориста.
Усе це не так і важко налагодити. Було б бажання. Була б воля до перемоги. Сподіваємося й віримо, що вона у вас є.

У ці дні, що передують зустрічі президента США Трампа із президентом Росії Путіним на теренах американської Аляски, ми закликаємо громадян України, українців за межами України і всіх тих на світових обширах, хто підтримує Україну і українців, виходити на справді масові акції підтримки висловлених вище вимог та протестів проти будь-яких спроб примусити Україну до миру з Росією через капітуляцію й здачу законних територій України.

Знайдіть час, щоб вийти на вулиці не для того, що добре провести час, а щоб висловити свою чітку позицію на підтримку України й не допустити договорняка між Трампом і уже оголошеним міжнародним судом воєнним злочинцем Путіним на користь Росії. Хай з вами будуть на вуличних акціях біля Білого Дому й Конґресу США у Вашинґтоні, біля офісів глав держав та урядів, біля посольств США, Росії та України в столицях усіх країн світу якомога більше людей доброї волі, які усвідомлюють природу війни Росії проти України й підтримують Україну, цілісність її території, суверенітет і безпеку.
